The project, which is undertaken in partnership with Angolan distribution partner Webcor, will specialize in production of cookies, biscuits and chocolates, with a total investment of US$45 million.

The industrial unit, Dulceria Nacional, is located in the Luanda / Bengo Special Economic Zone and is in an advanced stage of implementation, with its inauguration scheduled for November this year.

It is expected to produce six thousand tons of products of different brands annually, serving both the local market and neighbouring countries of Congo, Namibia, Zambia and Botswana, and will bring a competitive advantage in terms of cost and distribution.

Arcor currently operates more than 40 production sites in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Peru and Mexico, with a daily production volume that amounts to 3 million kilograms of different brands that are reportedly sold in more than 100 countries worldwide.
