This project, part of Webcor's Social Responsibility program, aims to promote a clean and safe school environment and provide students with the opportunity to develop their skills and grow in a quality school community. Webcor is committed to embracing community participation and community empowerment as a primary means of building local capacity towards improving quality of life, poverty reduction, and development.
“Providing Angolan children with the quality education they will need to succeed is one of the biggest challenges we face. The way forward is to turn this challenge into an opportunity. We chose to collaborate with the local communities to improve existing educational facilities and create a more conducive environment. These Angolan students spend most of their youth in this school and their future will depend on it.” Hiba Nesr, Director of Corporate Social Responsibility.
Operating in Angola for over 25 years, AngoAlissar also carries out numerous social projects, such as the recent initiative to provide direct access to water to over 4,000 inhabitants of Lucira in Namibe.
