The Angolan Government honored Angoalissar with an award at a meeting held by the Ministry of Finance to thank major taxpayers for their contribution to state revenues.
Apr 2022On Mach 30, 2022, Minister Vera Daves hosted Angola's top ten taxpayers at an informal lunch during which she thanked them for the revenues collected, encouraged even closer cooperation, and presented each of them with an award in recognition of their contribution.
Angoalissar was represented by Eduardo Barbosa, Country Manager of Webcor Group Angola, at the meeting attended by representatives of major contributors, including Total and Catoca, as well as several high-profile people linked to the Ministry, such as the new Chairman of the Board of the General Tax Authority (AGT), José Vieira Nuno Leiria.
The award states "The country thanks you for your contribution." According to the Ministry of Finance, large taxpayers contributed around 1.6 billion kwanzas to the state in 2021, equivalent to 45% of non-oil tax revenues.
